Some new old photos

I know this is probably corny, but I think it's cool that there's a picture of the Vegas reunion with people sitting around a table looking at old pictures. And that picture is in the photo album.

Doubletree room rates

I've negotiated a room rate of $99 a night at the Doubletree, and they're throwing in two breakfasts per room with that. I think that's pretty good for the area. I'm also talking to PGA National about options for golf, but I think the $179 a night is set. Then of course, the Super 8 will be $50 a night.

If anyone has anything they'd like to do or see that weekend, let me know. I'll be looking at more options in the coming weeks.

Both the Doubletree and PGA National have offered catering services for a dinner, but it looks like Ginny is going to be our host for a Saturday night dinner. It will be at her parents' house. I'm sure she'll appreciate some help, so as it gets closer, we'll look at what we can do to assist.

I've been in Michigan playing golf, so I haven't posted anything recently. So here are a few photos from the past for everyone to enjoy. I know I didn't start out this way, but I think I'll post all old pictures in posts and recent ones on the sidebar. I'm not going to go back and change what's already up there. So if you have any recent shots, send them to me, and I'll post them. Plus, I'm looking for news or interesting tidbits about the family.

I scanned in a bunch of photos, and I thought I'd just upload them into a post instead of putting them on the sidebar. At the rate I'm going, that might fill up fast. I'm trying to find pictures of everyone, and I'm pretty close to getting everyone represented. There's still a few missing, so e-mail me or add them yourselves.

Room rates

I called three properties in the area for group room rates, and I got a pretty good range.

PGA National - $179 a night
Doubletree - $109 a night
Super 8 - $50 a night

The Doubletree and Super 8 rates are dependent on at least 10 rooms.

If anyone knows of something else, I can check on them, as well.
