Pro-Am

Just a quick note to let everyone know that I'll be playing in the Buick Open Pro-Am tournament on Wednesday. Pairings are set for Monday, so I'll let you know who I'll be paired with.

I can't believe I have this opportunity. I feel lucky, and God is definitely looking out for me.

Accommodations

Ty and I have been making some random phone calls to see where everyone wants to stay - and who actually will be at the reunion. We've found two things, I think. One, there should be a pretty good turnout. Secondly, most people are gravitating to either PGA National or Super 8. There was talk about trying to pick one so we all could be staying at the same place, but I think the two camps are pretty set.

Things should be set up for PGA National and Super 8. When calling for reservations at PGA, tell them it's for the Neal Family Reunion. When calling the Super 8, ask for Neal.

Back home

Well, I made it back from Europe. Pretty awesome. I drank a lot of wine and ate lots of good food in France. And in England, I saw lots of historical buildings, stopped in an old English pub for fish and chips and a pint and played some nice golf courses.

Now I'm at the OBX (Outer Banks) for my traditional birthday beach visit with my best friend. Happy Birthday, USA and me.

OK, it's getting a little closer to October, and I've had a few questions come up about accommodations. The consensus seems to be that we all might want to stay at the same place. So, I'm looking for some feedback about where you guys are leaning - PGA National, Doubletree or Super 8.

Plus, if anyone has any ideas about activities, please let me know. I know Ty and I are playing golf, but that's all I have for sure.
